From July 2000 through August 2009, 304 host-families have provided over 1,500 patient-families a combined total more than 42,500 nights of lodging, thus saving these patient-families an estimated $2.65 million in equivalent hotel expenses. In all, patient-families have been referred to HOSTS for HOSPITALS from all 50 states in the United States and at least 75 other countries. |
